aleeya is born from a friendship, nurtured over three decades, and rooted in the contrasting beauty of two cherished homes: Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, and Melbourne, Australia.

Thirty years ago, two friends embarked on separate journeys. One remained in the heart of Kuching, a city intrinsically linked to the rainforest, where a deep understanding of nature and community is woven into the very fabric of life. In Kuching, we learned the art of mindful living – how to care for both people and the environment, utilising nature’s bounty to nurture wellbeing and sustain the world around us. It’s a heritage of reciprocal care, passed down through generations.

The other sought new horizons in Melbourne, a vibrant metropolis at the forefront of innovation. Here, access to cutting-edge research and development, coupled with a robust and documented manufacturing infrastructure, opened doors to a world of technological advancement. It fostered a commitment to meticulous quality assurance, ensuring every detail is perfected.

For years, these two worlds existed separately, each enriching the perspective of its guardian. But a shared longing for something more – a desire to bridge the wisdom of heritage with the power of innovation – sparked a reunion in 2023.
